Meet Kimberly Siegrist, PTA

Kim has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 25 years, graduating from Jefferson Community College in 2000. She brings extensive experience across multiple settings, with 19 years devoted to outpatient orthopedics.

For 12 years, she specialized in the rehabilitation of patients following lumbar and cervical fusions and rotator cuff repairs, and she successfully developed and led an aquatic therapy program that demonstrated excellent outcomes for lumbar fusion patients. She also spent seven years in a busy orthopedic practice treating total joint replacements, tendon and ligament repairs, and athletes recovering from sports-related injuries. During this time, she gained additional expertise in orthopedic bracing and post-surgical care.

Her career also includes three years in hospital-based therapy and three years in rehabilitation facilities, where she worked with patients recovering from strokes, heart attacks, paralysis, and other neurological conditions. This diverse background allows her to treat both acute and chronic conditions with confidence and skill.

Known as a hands-on therapist, Kim believes in the importance of educating her patients on their conditions and emphasizes individualized care. She integrates manual therapy techniques into treatment sessions whenever possible and is committed to tailoring each program to meet the unique needs of her patients.

As someone who has personally managed chronic pain, she has a deep empathy for her patients and a strong understanding of how pain impacts daily life. This lived experience enriches her practice, giving her unique insight into effective strategies for managing and overcoming pain.
