Meet Dr. Nathan Ramirez
Nathan R. Ramirez, PsyD, is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in sport-related (SRC)/non-sport-related concussion. His training started by obtaining his doctorate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP). He then completed his pre-doctoral internship at Cox Health Medical Center and Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO and went on to complete his post-doctoral fellowship specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of concussion/mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Sports Medicine Concussion Program.
Notably, he completed his training under the research and clinical mentorship of Dr. Anthony Kontos and Dr. Michael Collins, respectively, who are leading experts in the field of concussion/mTBI. Currently, he remains active in producing scholarly research related to active, targeted treatments for SRC; and neuropsychological associations with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD).
